Tying and wiring a Pretty Bow by Sandra Miles

There are dozens of ways to tie a bow - the easiest is probably to just tie something in the same way you would tie a shoelace - but this gives you another option that with a bit of practise could come in very handy for embellishing cards

This bow uses 15mm organza ribbon but you could just as easily use 7mm organza.

Step One

Lay the ribbon over your hand

Step Two

Make a loop facing towards you and hold

Step Three

Make another loop away from you and hold that too

Step Four

Repeat that making another two loops and hold.

Step Five

Crease into the centre, lay some silver wire across and pull to the back and twist tight to secure

Step Six

Then trim as needed to tidy the ends and wires etc.
