Materials

1 A4 Sheet JS Elegance Satin Card 300gsm.
2 A4 Sheet JS Elegance Satin Paper 160gsm.
1 A4 Sheet JS Gold Mirri Card.
1 A4 Sheet JS Gentle Gloss Photo Paper.

Sticky Stuff – I used Double Sided Tape, Foam Pads and Collall Glue.

JS Christmas in Hollypond Hill CD

Optional Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad – I used Stormy Sky and a small make-up sponge to apply.

Step One

Using Gentle Gloss Photo Paper print out the image sheet from the JS Christmas in Hollypond Hill CD.

Using 160gsm JS Elegance Satin Paper print out the matching backing paper and Insert.

Step Two

Using a sheet of JS Elegance Satin Card 300gsm, measure, mark, cut and score as shown.

Step Three

Mount the largest topper on gold mirri card, so that when mounted the image measures 14cms x 13cms.

Mount one of the smallest toppers on gold mirri card. The mounted image should measure approximately 5.5cms x 5cms.

Step Four

Trim the insert to 28cms x 13cms and fold in half (14cms x 13cms) with the image folded to the inside.

With the insert closed and image still to the inside of the folded insert, stick the outside of the plain half of the insert to the back of the topper. The fold line of the insert should be at the right-hand side edge of the topper. This will create a card opening the wrong way. Trim to fit if necessary.

Step Five

Optional – Using a Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad (I used Stormy Sky) and either a duster brush or a piece of make-up sponge, tint the edges on the inside of the card. Tint all the inside of the flap and the edges around the outside of the flap.

Step Six

Cut a piece of backing paper 16cms x 16cms centre and mount it onto the inside of the card.

Attach the topper/insert on top of the backing paper, so the topper opens outwards towards the right. (This is a card opening the wrong way).

Step Seven

Close the flap over the topper and mark out a notched section the size of the topper, 13cms long, and approximately 0.5cm to 1cm wide. If you are not confident, cut slightly smaller and adjust.

Step Eight

Cut a piece of backing paper 7.5cms x 16cms. Trim and mount on the front of the flat.

Cut out the cameo of the rabbit and attach to the front of the flap.

Mount the smaller topper on the inside of the flap.

Step Nine

Attach a sentiment to the front of the card.

To display the card, locate the topper in the notched section on the flap.

This card will fold down and fit in an 18cms x 18cms card
