Materials

2 A4 sheets 300gsm Elegance Satin Card.
1 or 2 sheets 160gsm Elegance Satin Paper.
1 A4 Sheet Gold Mirri Card.

Approx 1/3mtr Dotty Satin Ribbon – Sunrise.

Sticky stuff – I used Double Sided Tape, Pinflair Glue Gel and Foam Pads.

House Mouse Project Book with CD Rom.

Optional

A pretty mask to stencil with, Tim Holtz Stormy Skies Distress Ink Pad, Ink Dusters or small piece of sponge for blending edges and inside of card.

For Embellishment – Flower dies and flourishes

*Please note, the mask and dies used are not available on the website but similar products are*

Step One

Using 160gms Elegance Satin paper print out the set of toppers and matching backing sheet.

If your printer will print on card print the backing paper out using 300gsm Elegance Satin card instead of paper.

Step Two

Using an A4 sheet of 300gsm Elegance card, measure, mark, cut and score as shown.

Step Three

To make the pedestal, using an A 4 Sheet of 300gsm JS Elegance Satin card, either plain or printed with the backing paper design, measure, mark, cut and score as shown.

Step Four

The illustration shows the pedestal made using Elegance card printed with the backing paper design.  If your printer will not print onto card, either print out using 160gsm paper and mount onto a piece of card, or add colour to the pedestal by either blending round the edges or using a mask and stippling.

Optional – round the corners and either blend or stipple the inside of the pedestal.

Step Five

Colour the inside of the card using either a mask or by blending colour into the edges of the card.

Step Six

Either blend colour or use the same mask around the edges of the front and back of the card.  Less blending is needed on the front of the card, as the majority is covered by the topper.

Step Seven

Mount the largest topper on a piece of gold mirri card.  The topper when mounted should measure approximately 10.5cms x 13cms.  Fix to the front of the card.

Mount one of the smallest toppers onto gold mirri card and fix to the back of the card.

Step Eight

Locate the card into the 1cm slots in the pedestal.

Mount the sentiment onto gold mirri card, add a piece of dotty ribbon and fix to the inside of the card using foam pads.

Step Nine

Using your flower and flourish dies, cut a set of flower shapes and a flourish.  Layer up and stick to the front of the card.

This card will fold down for posting and will fit into a 16cms x 16cms envelope.
