JS Daisy & Friends at Christmas CD

Step One

Using images from the JS Daisy & Friends at Christmas CD print out one of the large backing papers and three of the interactive sentiments. They will all fit on an A4 sheet of JS Gentle Gloss Photo Paper. How to copy individual images and interactive sentiments and import them into a word processing or graphics programme and resize is explained on the CD.

Mount the topper onto gold mirri card. The mounted topper should measure approximately 10.5cms x 12cms.

Mount the three sentiments onto gold mirri card. The mounted sentiments should measure approximately 8cms x 4cms each.

Using the 160gsm JS Elegance Satin Paper, print out a complementary backing paper.

Step Two

You may find it easier to make a template using 160gsm JS Elegance Satin Paper and transfer the markings to the cardstock.

Using an A4 sheet of card, landscape orientation, score this in half vertically.

Step Three

Using the centre vertical score line as a starting point, measure and mark as shown.

Step Four

Score and cut the marked points as shown.

Step Five

Illustration shows the card once it has been scored, cut and folded.

Step Six

Using Gold Mirri card and a die measuring approx. 2.4inches diameter (I used the illustrated die) cut two die-cuts. Cut one with the mirri side face-up and the other with the mirri side face-down, to create a mirror image.

Using sticky tape attach a length of cotton to the back of one of the die-cuts and using Aleenes tacky glue stick the two die-cuts together, sandwiching the cotton between the two die-cuts.

Step Seven

Cut a strip of the backing paper 18cms x 5cms and mount onto a piece of gold mirri card 19cms x 6cms and mount onto the right-hand side of the card as shown. Attach the topper and sentiment. I used foam pads.

Step Eight

Cut a piece of backing paper 18cms x 2.5cms and mount onto a piece of JS Gold Mirri Card 19cms x 3.5cms. Attach the sentiments as shown. I used foam pads.

Using sticky tape, attach the string holding the die-cut to the reverse of the card, so the die-cut will revolve. To mask the sticky tape cover it with a small piece of card.

This card will fold down and fit in a 22cms x 22cms card.
