2 x A4 Sheets Stardream Card - I used Citrine.
1 x A4 Sheet of 120gsm paper for insert.
Off cuts of white, pink, and green paper for flowers.
Bling - to decorate the topper.
Sticky Stuff - I used Double Sided Tape, Pinflair Glue Gel, Aleenes Tacky Glue and Foam Pads.
House-Mouse Stamp-plate "Allsorts - Cosy Toes JSHM032".
House-Mouse Inserts CD Rom.
Promarkers to colour the topper.
Memento Tuxedo Black Stamp Pad.
Optional - Martha Stewart Double Loops punch around the page punch set. Please check that the punches are suitable for the cardstock you are using. Some punches will only punch thin card.
Flower Punches - Medium Cherry Blossom, Mega Fern, Cedar Sprig.
Using a piece of Stardream card, landscape orientation, score in half vertically - do not fold.
Mark points along the top and bottom edges 4cms in from each corner.
Mark points 4cms in from the top and bottom of the vertical score line.
Score from the top and bottom marked points to the 4cms point on the centre score line.
Mountain fold the red lines and valley fold the blue lines. I find it easier to fold the centre score line in mountain/valley folds a couple of times before mountain folding the diagonal score lines.
Optional - Using the Martha Stewart Double Loops corner punch, punch the four corners.
Using Stardream card, cut a piece of card 14cms square (marked B). Mark a point 7cms in from the corner on all four sides. Join the four points to form a lozenge shape and score. Do not fold the score lines yet.
Cut a piece of Stardream card 8.25cms square for the topper (marked C).
Optional - Using the Martha Stewart corner punch, punch the four corners of the 14cms square (marked B). This forms the lozenge shaped front of the card.
Valley fold the score lines and curl the corners. I used the smooth handle of an embossing tool to curl the points round, but a piece of wooden dowelling would work.
Optional - Add a sentiment round the perimeter of the card "B". There is a sentiment "Welcome to your new little one", included with the stamp-plate which will fit if you don't wish to type a sentiment.
Optional - Using the Martha Stewart Double Loops punch set, punch around the topper (marked C).
Using Memento Tuxedo Black stamp pad, stamp the baby mouse and colour using Promarkers.
I used: Bonnet - Rose Pink, Blossom.
Mouse - Almond, Dusky Pink.
Cover - Ivory.
Basket - Putty, Caramel.
Grass - Olive Green
Using double sided tape, attach the lozenge shape "B" diagonally to the front of the card. Using foam pads centre and fix the topper "C" onto the lozenge card front "B".
Using the House-Mouse CD print out a coordinating A5 Landscape insert. Trim away each side of the insert to fit inside the card.
It explains on the CD how to use the interactive facility if you want to add a sentiment.
Punch eight white and eight pink cherry blossom flowers. Using the molding/shaping tool, cup the flowers by working the centre in a circular motion. Stick a pink and white flower together, I used Aleenes tacky glue.
Highlight the centre of each flower using Stickles glitter glue or similar.
Punch eight ferns and four cedar sprigs for foliage.
Arrange the flowers and foliage in two groups of three at the bottom of the card and singly at the top.
This card will need to be displayed in a box.
